DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS

Introduction

The departmental of economics has been established in with the opening of the college. The subject is offered to the disciplines of Arts. It is introduced as a special subject for the students of Arts and as a compulsory subject to discipline of commerce. Keeping in mind the importance of economic literacy, the aim of the subject are the following –

Objectives

Develop the sense of responsibility and morality among the students.
Understand the changing economic scenario.
Know the flux in the economic policies of the nation as well as the individual.
Create the economic literacy among the students
Plan and manage the financial situation in life.
Scrutinize and assess the global market in terms of economic policies.
